All the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 rumors so far

It is quite possible that the franchise Call of Duty has suffered more leaks and rumors than any other series in gaming. This year has been no different, and there are many rumors of Modern Warfare 3 circulating on social media and beyond.

That said, here are all the rumors about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Advantages will become Equipment

In MW3The advantages will apparently take the form of "equipment", with each piece of equipment logically giving the player a skill.

For example, a certain pair of gloves will offer Fast Hands, while another may offer Strong Arm. One set of boots might even offer Double Time, while another offers Ninja.

This means that characters will be much more customizable than ever before, offering a truly unique way to put your mark on the game.

Slide Cancel and Reload Cancel will return in Modern Warfare 3

According to the latest rumors from Modern Warfare 3slide cancel and reload cancel should make a big reappearance in the new game.

This means that players will once again be flying around the map like ghosts. And, the movement mechanics that were removed from the game for Modern Warfare II e Warzone 2.0 will be restored.

Classic Map to return

To Modern Warfare IIThe classic minimap has been removed. And, the red dots that appear on the map when someone fires their weapon have been removed completely.

Instead, a "compass" style bar was added to the top of the screen, offering some way of pinpointing the enemy's location - but it wasn't good. Allegedly, if the rumor of Modern Warfare 3 The classic minimap is making a comeback this year. And it will bring with it those all-important red dots that make the game a little more accessible to players.

World War II War Mode

War Mode was an ambitious game mode presented in Call of Duty: WWII. It offered a narrative arena that saw an attacking team try to complete various objectives while the defending team tried to contain them.

It was similar to the larger game modes of Battlefield - as Grand Operations - and there were several maps built as 'Operations' in World War II to accommodate these large-scale fights.

Zombies mode in rounds

There were allegations made months ago that Call of Duty 2023 - which we now know is Modern Warfare 3 - would feature a 'Zombies in Rounds' mode. This could still be the case, as this particular rumor has remained strong while others have come and gone.

In this way, we could see a modernized Zombies mode built into the side of Modern Warfare 3 when it's released on November 10th?

Old maps are back

It's almost expected at this point, but there are rumors (and leaked images) of old and classic maps of Modern Warfare 2 of 2009 that will make a reappearance in Modern Warfare 3.

It's a given at this point, and it could be argued that it's a trademark of the studios at Activision revisit old fan-favorite maps. How many times have we seen Nuketown appear, for example?

Las Almas could host Warzone

Allegedly, when MW3 launch, will bring a new experience of Warzone set in Las Almas, the Mexican region exploited during the campaign of MW2 2022.

In short, there were images that were rumored to show a potential map of Las Almas taken from the actual MWIIBut it is not known whether these maps were simply part of the scenario or an indication of something much bigger to come.
