Destiny 2 launches macabre festival of the dead

The seasonal event of the Festival of the Dead returns today to Destiny 2 and will be available until November 7. During this free event, players will be able to wear masks and collect goodies to complete challenges in the haunted sectors scattered throughout the system.

This year's treats include the new legendary heavy grenade launcher, Acosmic, the insect ornament sets chosen by the community, spoils from the sinister engrams, an extra dose of challenges (and spoils) in the Legend level haunted sectors, as well as additional rewards with the Festival of the Dead event card.
