Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections gets a release date!

Everyone already knows that the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise is one of the best anime-based games, but after its success, many other games have tried to emulate some of this quality, including other anime. But in the style of game that Ultimate Ninja Storm fits into, in my opinion no game has come close.

Six years after the release of the last game in the franchise (da Storm), on October 20 this year we'll have access to a new chapter in the saga on both old and new generation consoles. But is there something about this game that makes it feel worth playing again? That's what we're going to talk about...

A mainly celebratory game

As well as being a very influential game franchise, especially in anime-based games (you can also see an influence in Final Fantasy XVI), this return of the series comes as a celebration of the 20 years that the Naruto franchise (the anime) has been running. As well as the game, there will be some new episodes of the classic anime. But what about the game, is it just a celebration or does it bring something new?

From what has already been announced, the game will appeal to new players as well as old ones, because we'll have a completely original story for the game, with equally new characters. A new story would be enough to arouse interest, wouldn't it? But the news doesn't stop there. In Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections we'll have the largest number of characters ever seen in anime games.

There will be both classic characters from the franchise and new characters, as well as characters from the Boruto series. In other words, a plethora of characters. And if there's one thing the franchise has done well, it's make each of the characters very unique, both in the look of the model and in the moves, and the moves... There were thousands of on-screen particles that made your eyes glaze over, and now with the new generation, all of this can be seen in 60 FPS, as well as, of course, the graphical improvements.

But what about you? Do you think these additions make the game worth buying again? I confess I'd play it again with a certain amount of peace of mind, but what about you? Let us know in the comments...
