Today Rare launches the first part of Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Islandavailable free of charge to owners of any edition of Sea of Thieves in Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, Steam and for all members of the Xbox Game Pass.
Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island is a collaboration between Rare and Lucasfilm Games, which brings together two beloved casts of pirate characters to tell an original story.

Sea of Thieves receives new update focusing on The Legend of Monkey Island
The Legend of Monkey Island is a hilarious and heartwarming love letter to the iconic adventure game series Monkey Island. This collaboration includes three Tall Tales. Following the adventures of Guybrush Threepwood in Sea of Thieves and featuring Guybrush, the pirate ghost LeChuck. And, other characters (and voice actors) from the Monkey Island game series.
Tall Tales will be delivered monthly as free updates to owners of any edition of Sea of Thieves. And, members of the Xbox Game Passas of today, July 20th.
With three Tall Tales being released, whether it's solving puzzles. Mastering Insult Sword Fighting or navigating lava-filled catacombs with Guybrush as your guide.
This free expansion offers owners of any edition of Sea of Thieves the opportunity to experience the world of Monkey Island like never before, between Sea of Thieves and the Monkey Island.
