See what's new in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at TGS

During Tokyo Game Show 2023, SQUARE ENIX presented a broadcast of FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH and revealed almost 30 minutes of footage of the "Grasslands" area, a vast, verdant expanse of rich land in Mako. These plains are full of various points of interest to be discovered during exploration, such as the "remnawave towers", which help players orient themselves and give information about the area, moogle houses, places to dig and much more. There are also tropical lands and chocobo farms, where chocobos are bred to traverse difficult terrain.

New artwork for the game was also unveiled during the presentation. Created by creative director Tetsuya Nomura, the new illustrations feature the incredible heroines who inspire Cloud and his companions to be brave: Tifa, the powerful martial artist, and Aerith, the flower seller and last of the ancient race of the Cetra.
