Marvel's Spider-Man 2 got a new trailer during a Spidey-themed panel at the San Diego Comic-Conin which we see a number of new small details, including new visuals for Miles Morales e Mary Jane.

The trailer was published by the developer Insomniac Games through his official Twitter account, and began with a new look at Miles Morales first.

Those who have played previous games in the series will know that he has a shaved head in both the first games of his own standalone title, while he has a bit more of a chic hairstyle going on in Spider-Man 2. His outfit is quite similar to the red and black of the previous game, so don't worry about that.

What's new in the Spider-Man 2 trailer

MJ also has a new look for Spider-Man 2Although it's a little less drastic than Miles'. You can see her briefly in a few scenes in the trailer. And instead of the shorter hair tied up in a ponytail that we saw in the first game, MJ is now rocking much longer hair that reaches past her shoulders.

Both characters haven't really changed that much. But, they do look a little different to signify the time difference between Spider-Man: Miles Morales e Spider-Man 2.

Speaking of time differences, it was also revealed during the panel that the time interval between Spider-Man: Miles Morales e Spider-Man 2 is about nine months, which helps explain why both Miles and MJ are rocking new hairstyles.

This means that almost a whole year has passed before Miles' first independent adventure, and both he and Peter Parker have become a "well-oiled machine" when it comes to fighting crime.

As for the other highlights of the trailer, you can also see a brief glimpse of Martin Li. So, implying that Mr. Negative will be back in Spider-Man 2 to play a role in the story.

We also got to see some new images of other villains, such as Kraven and Lizard, as well as our first in-game look at Venom in motion. Throw in the little tease in the game's first trailer that Wraith may also be included in the game. And, it looks like Peter and Miles may be facing off when the game is released in October.

Finally, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 arrives on October 20th for PlayStation 5.
