The youtube channel Ubisoft announced that Julian Gerighty, who currently works as creative director at Star Wars Outlaws, has also been named executive producer of the series The Divisionthus confirming The Division 3.

As part of the announcement, it was confirmed that The Division 3 will be one of the projects that Gerighty will supervise. And that Massive Entertainment will be leading the development, as it did with the two previous games.

"As executive producer, Julian Gerighty will oversee all The Division games and products, including Tom Clancy's The Division 3, led by Massive Entertainment, which is actively building a team for the game," says the Ubisoft statement.

"In his new role, Julian will lead the many interdependent production elements of The Division brand in a unified direction.

"This includes overseeing development, operations and creative vision alongside development teams around the world who are currently developing Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence mobile game, Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland and Tom Clancy's The Division 2."

Will The Division 3 announced by Ubisoft have an impact on other games?

According to Ubisoft, Gerighty will continue to work on Star Wars Outlaws until the game is finished. See below:

"Julian remains fully committed to making Star Wars Outlaws a success for both the development team and the fans," says Ubisoft. "He will remain on the project until launch to ensure that the game meets the intended creative vision and provides a great experience for players."

In a statement, Gerighty he said:

"There are only a few games that I can genuinely say surprised me the first time I saw them, and Tom Clancy's The Division is one of them. I was immediately hooked, like so many others who are part of our dedicated community of gamers.

"It's a privilege and an honor to be able to continue building incredible and unforgettable experiences in this amazing world with the most talented teams around the world, and I can't wait for what's next."

The Division 3 despite being announced by Ubisoft, has no release date or window, but it should arrive on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
