First of all, we would like to thank GameMillwho sent us a key to the game. Check out our review below!

A rescue mission

Without much fanfare, TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants doesn't have a story, much less a narrative, but rather a goal: to save April from the hands of the Shredder.

You can play with the iconic turtles, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello e Raphael to defeat the Foot Clan and reach the evil Shredder.

TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants features classic gameplay

Nem metroidvania, souls-like, hack n’ slash ou qualquer um desses gêneros da atualidade. TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants breathes good, classic beat-em-up.

You must always go to the right of the screen, defeating hordes of enemies, grabbing slices of pizza to recover your life, throwing barrels and more to defeat your enemies. The gameplay may be a little out of date, but it embraces the nostalgia of many Turtles fans.

Just to kill the nostalgia

Although it's fun, TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants it's just a game to remind us of the old days and prepare us for the Turtles' next content.

While we wait for the launch of TMNT: Mutant Unleashed of Outright Gameswhich launches in 2024 and is inspired by Mutant Mayhemor the game inspired by “O Último Ronin” developed by THQ, Wrath of the Mutants can serve as a stopgap, but not as a memorable game.

Is it worth playing?

Despite having great characters and a rich universe, TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants it's a game that costs a lot for what it's actually worth.

In PSN (where we played) it costs R$ 149.50, for less than 1h30 of gameplay. Unless you decide to do the 100% trophies, which would mean you'd have to play it three times.

Speaking of stages, there are five main ones and a final one where we find the Shredder. These stages can be played in any order you like (except the final one), although they do seem to have some logical connection.
