Without any prior warning, the games Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant II, which were released in July this year, have just arrived in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
Both games are already available to Game Pass PC, Console or Ultimate subscribers, and may be available in the cloud at a later date. If you're not familiar with the franchise, we recommend playing From the Ashes before the sequel.
