This Tuesday, fans of Call of Duty were greeted with news that could change the entire video game industry: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will arrive at launch on Xbox Game Pass.
The news was leaked earlier today in a notification from the app Xbox for cell phones, but soon after on the Xbox Wire it has been confirmed that the game will arrive on the service.
"We're excited to confirm that Game Pass members will be able to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass," said Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass.
It's not yet clear whether the service subscription will remain the same with the addition of the franchise to the catalog, or whether there will be a new exclusive tier for the game. But one thing is certain: the game will be on the service.
