EA FC may receive OPEN WORLD in the future

EA Sports FC 24 is the next game of the EA Sports, which last year was called FIFAbut, after the EA gave up the rights due to the high cost of maintenance, decided to found his own franchise. This one is called EA Sports FC and will receive its first version in 2023.

As we reported in July and now in August, the game will be receiving numerous new features in the Career mode and also a A more immersive Matchday than ever before.

But it seems that EA doesn't want to stop there, and wants to bring even more innovations to the future of the series, with the aim of going head-to-head with its competitors.

An open world is in development for EA FC by EA Sports

First found by the user gamer_matheusx in Twitteron the Electronic Arts there are some vacancies available to work at EA Sports. Among them, there are two vacancies that stand out.

One of them is the Open World ProducerThis is a requirement that the employee has led a team on at least one high-budget open-world game, and that they help manage the open-world script by mapping out the main features and content.

This can be a somewhat ambiguous position, since in the EA Sports there are other franchises, such as Madden NFL, NHL, NASCAR, Dirt, NBA Live and others. However, the vacancy that really catches the eye is the one below.

The vacancy raised by the user gamer_matheusx is the "Environment Art - EA SPORTS FC", which in translation would be Environmental Art Director for the EA Sports FC.

This position requires you to have more than 10 years' experience in creating open worlds, have good environmental skills to create a believable environment, and have the goal of building a new sandbox open world environment.

Since it's an open world sandbox, it's safe to assume that the EA must be planning something like MyPark from NBA of 2K. Where you can create your player, walk around the city, go to clothing stores, gyms and so on.

If that's what EA is planning for the next games in the franchise, it will indeed be a major milestone. And, it might even make sense given that there are some more immersive additions, such as the image of narrators and commentators, galas events and celebrations on top of open buses.
