The youtube channel Tango Gameworks is an almost legendary studio in the world of games. Despite being a relatively new studio, founded in 2010, it is famous for having the legendary developer Shinji Mikamithe creator of Resident Evil.
After the studio developed The Evil Within e The Evil Within 2A new entry in the survival horror genre, the studio also made Ghostwire: Tokyoa kind of "FPS" that brought a bit of Japanese culture to the work.
While Shinji Mikami was active in Ghostwire: Tokyohis pupil, John Johanas, was on a project that went in the opposite direction to what the studio had set out to do, but would go on to become the studio's best project, and possibly the best Xbox game of the last decade: Hi-Fi Rush.
Hi-Fi Rush to return after Tango Gameworks acquisition
After Microsoft and Division Xbox announce that the Tango Gameworks would be closed, many were saddened by the news. The big reason was the loss of the franchise Hi-Fi Rush, who made a masterly debut with 87 of MetacriticThe game has been nominated for best game of the year and won numerous awards.
After the incident, it was revealed this Sunday (11) that the KRAFTONstudio behind PUBG, TERA and famous for publishing games such as The Callisto Protocol e INZOIis acquiring not only the Tango Gameworksbut also IP Hi-Fi Rush.
What we know so far is that his two other franchises, Ghostwire: Tokyo e The Evil Withinare not included in the package. But it is certain that we will see the return of Hi-Fi Rush not only in games, but possibly also in other media.
