The youtube channel Frontier Developments announced that Planet Coaster 2, the long-awaited roller coaster and water park simulation game, will be released on November 6, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
As of today, aspiring theme park managers can pre-order the spectacular sequel to the acclaimed Planet Coaster It's time for the 2016 edition to receive the thrilling Bonus Ride Collection, including the FD Vision spinning ride, the Outmax Water Coaster and the dizzying flat ride The Cube. For players who choose to order the Deluxe Edition, there's even more creative fun with the Vintage Funfair Ride Pack, including ten additional roller coasters and rides inspired by iconic fairground rides.
Planet Coaster 2 invites players to expand their imagination with a spectacular selection of rides, slides and much more. They'll push the boundaries of creativity like never before, thanks to powerful creative tools, next-level customization and vibrant themes, including Resort, Aquatic, Viking and Mythology. Design sparkling pools, scale the scenery to the perfect size and build impressive, sprawling parks that provide the perfect backdrop for guests to create unforgettable memories.
For the first time in Planet Coaster 2In the latest version of the game, players can customize rides and roller coasters quickly and easily with more detail than ever to bring their ideas to life. A series of thrilling roller coasters and jaw-dropping thrill rides will bring excitement to any park, alongside vibrant water attractions including waterslides, flumes, wave pools and much more to delight and entertain. Using the new event sequencer tool, players can also add mesmerizing effects to their attractions, including animatronics and water fountains, which bring the dramatic fanfare of real-world theme parks to their visitors.
Even the most impressive park requires specialized management and, in the Planet Coaster 2With the new park management system, it's never been easier for players to identify vital improvements that will boost their park rating and help them on their way to becoming a master of park management. Useful new heat maps provide an overview of each park's needs at a glance, while selecting any visitor or staff member will reveal information about exactly what they're thinking during the day, so players can take action.
With the new water park gameplay comes even greater authenticity, with details inspired by real-world parks. Shade, sunscreen, lifeguards, changing rooms and much more are key to ensuring that guests have their best day in and out of the pool. And, of course, even the most sensational rides must also be supplied with energy and water to remain operational. Pools must be kept immaculate and facilities must be maintained to the highest standard to ensure maximum safety and happiness.
Planet Coaster 2 offers more ways to share than ever before, including, for the first time, the ability to jump one at a time into a shared Sandbox level to build together on all platforms. Players will also be able to visit friends' parks to try out their creations at the touch of a button, race to the top of the leaderboard in Franchise mode and share and download entire projects and parks via the multi-platform Frontier Workshop.
