The PS5 Pro is becoming more and more real, and could arrive this year!

A while ago, we wrote a post about the possible specifications of a possible PS5 Pro, and it seems to be getting closer and closer to coming out. That's because, in recent days, several analysts have assured us of the console's existence, and even said that it could be arriving this year.

Some sources have been able to claim that some studios are already receiving their dev kits, and this could end up resulting in the release of unofficial specifications in the coming days or months. As well as serving to boost Sony's console sales, which were a little down on the last fiscal year, with the launch of the "professional" version of the console, we'll automatically have the best place to play GTA VI.

But the information doesn't stop there because, according to a member of NXGamer, in a recent conversation on Moore's Law is Dead, Sony will present a machine with superior specifications and the help of artificial intelligence to achieve its ambitions. With greater power compared to the current version of the Japanese company's console, and with AI helping with upscaling technologies, the PS5 Pro may be able to run games with superior performance without sacrificing so much image quality.

NXGamer's sources talk about AI image upscaling, something similar to what we find with the Nvidia DLSS, which combined with the greater power will allow Sony to promote the PS5 Pro as a console capable of running its games at an incredible 4K and 120fps. This doesn't mean that it will be a native 4K machine at 120fps, but that could be the catchphrase to sell it as it will be able to achieve this performance, even if not simultaneously.
